Binance stellt den Service von SEPA-Banküberweisungen in Euro aus
The largest cryptoexchange Binance announced a temporary stoppage of servicing deposits in euros.
From July 7, 8:00 UTC, the cryptoexchange will freeze the possibility of bank transfer of funds within the Single Euro Payments Area indefinitely due to issues “outside the control of the exchange”. This information was circulated in the latest letter sent by Binance representatives to their customers.
In the same letter, the employees of the trading platform emphasized that at the moment they are trying to solve the difficulties that have arisen as soon as possible, working on the problem together with their business partners.
It's worth noting that this email came the day after UK-based Barclays said it no longer supports payments from Binance customers. The reason for this decision was the fact that, according to UK regulators, the exchange operates in the country without a proper license. Representatives of the exchange, in turn, were shocked by the “one-sidedness” of actions on the part of Barclays and the news about the blocking of payments by their users.
The Binance team clarified that users can still seamlessly make euro-equivalent deposits using debit and credit cards.
