Study: Bitcoin Transactions Decline Since June
Experts at Glassnode Research carried out a study and found that the number of transactions in the Bitcoin network is constantly decreasing in the second half of the year. The researchers noticed that the decrease in the number of operations is directly connected with the cryptocurrency rate drop.
Recall that Bitcoin reached its peak value in 2019 at the end of June, while one coin cost about $14,000. But after that, it started to fall, and as of this writing, the BTC rate is $6,600.
It is hard to say what will be with the Bitcoin exchange rate, but despite a rather impressive drop, more recently, BTC was recognized as the best asset of the decade. If you invested only 1 dollar in Bitcoin in 2010, now it would turn into 90 thousand US dollars.
