More than 40% of Russians would not be happy to receive bitcoin as a New Year's gift
According to a recent social survey, carried by Hi-Tech Mail.ru, more than 42% of the Russian federation residents consider bitcoin a useless gift for the Christmas holidays. The survey was aimed to find out what kind of New Year gifts the Russians consider bad, so bitcoin turned out to be one of the leaders in this rating. Among more useless gifts, the Russians identified the symbols of the year, soap, calendar, massage mat and shaver.  More than 70% of respondents are sure that a New Year's gift should be useful on practice. 5200 people took part in this survey, answering questions online from December 13 to December 18.  The figures obtained indicate that the population of the Russian Federation is not deeply integrated into the cryptocurrency industry.
