Kraken Bitcoin Exchange Received 710 Requests for Information from the Authorities
Representatives of one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the USA, Kraken, spoke about incoming requests for information about users from law enforcement agencies around the world.
The exchange received 710 requests for information disclosure in 2019, 432 of them were from the United States, which is 49% more than in 2018, according to official data.
“Team America still ahead with 61% of total requests, down from 66% last year. Other geos gaining fast. The trend is obvious.”
The statistics show, the bulk of requests were related to users from the United States and the United Kingdom, while 19 of them were related to the Russian Federation citizens.
