
Japanese traders may be denied Binance access
Information on intentions of the exchange administration to restrict access to the site for residents of Japan appeared on the website of technical support for users of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance.
Binance is currently available to users in Japan, but it is not known how long it will last. The report said that the restrictions will be applied gradually, but there are no deadlines and dates for stopping work with Japanese traders. According to support, the information will be available later.
In March 2018, the Japanese regulator FSA (Financial Services Agency) called on Binance to obtain an appropriate license to continue working in the country of the rising sun. In the same year, another large cryptocurrency exchange, Kraken, ceased operations in Japan, and among the reasons indicated the high cost of doing business in the country.
