The new integration of a smart wallet into a car will allow Jaguar car drivers to receive a reward in IOTA tokens for transferring useful data (for example, traffic jams or potholes) to navigation service providers or local authorities. According to representatives of the company, drivers will also be rewarded for participating in a ride-sharing program. The main goal of Jaguar is to “achieve zero emissions, zero accidents and zero congestion." The automaker said it is currently testing technology for Jaguar Land Rover software in Shannon, Ireland. Its engineers have already equipped the Jaguar F-PACE and Range Rover Velar models with a smart wallet. The official release date of the novelty has not been disclosed yet.
