Europol Creates a Game that will Help Regulators in the Fight Against Crypto-Crime
Europol is developing a video game that will provide officers with "hands-on training and advice on tracing cryptocurrencies in criminal investigations".
The new product was announced by representatives of the Agency of the European Union at the sixth Cryptocurrency Conference, held at Europol headquarters from 12 to 14 June.
The new Europol project is being developed jointly with CENTRIC (Centre of Excellence in Terrorism, Resilience, Intelligence and Organised Crime Research). The launch of the finished product is scheduled for October.
The conference was attended by over 300 crypto experts from law enforcement and the private sector.
The main goal of the event is to find opportunities for closer cooperation and new partnerships to prevent cryptocurrency-related crimes.
