A Russian Crypto Scammer Vinnik Is Going on a Hunger Strike
As reported by the local news resource, the lawyer of Alexander Vinnik, a person who supposedly ran a fraudulent crypto trading platform, stated that his client was planning to start a hunger strike in order to get a fair and unprejudiced trial.
Vinnik was arrested in Greece back in 2017 and charged with operating an illegitimate Bitcoin exchange, BTC-e. The scammer has supposedly stolen almost $5 billion on BTC. Later on, Greece decided to extradite him to France.
Vinnik is sure, the fact that he is not a citizen of the European Union influences the way the court treats him
"Alexander Vinnik decided to go on a hunger strike because he realized he was stripped of the right for defense in France and, consequently, in Greece," his lawyers state. We remind you: https://thecoinshark.net/two-priests-became-another-victims-of-crypto-fraud/ Subscribe to The Coin Shark news in Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/coinshark/
