
CME options trading volumes raised more than 1000%
The demand for Bitcoin options on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has grown more than 10 times Between May 11 and June 10 of this year.
Historical highs
As on May 11 of this year, the trading volume of BTC options on SME was nearly $35 million, while on June 10 this figure reached $373 million. Over the past week, volumes also hit historic highs.
Options market
So far, CME occupies 20% of the entire Bitcoin options market. Besides, the overall crypto options market has grown by 50% over the past 30 days. Now the total trading volume is 1.5 billion US dollars.

Deribit – the options market leader
The Chicago exchange takes second place, and the leader is the Deribit crypto derivatives exchange. Its trading volume exceeded 1 billion US dollars last month.
