The absolute maximum mining computing power has been recorded in the Bitcoin network

Analysts report that the bitcoin hashrate has reached its highest value since the advent of the first cryptocurrency.

The maximum computing power in the history of bitcoin (ATH) was recorded on April 23. The graph shows an indicator of 271.19 EH / s. The previous maximum was recorded on February 12 and amounted to 246 EH/s. The increase was just over 10%.

The best mining pool last week was Foundry USA, whose power was 22.55% of the global hashrate. In second place with 27.56 EH/s (12.98% of the global hash rate) is Binance Pool.

The total processing power of Foundry USA was 47.89 EH/s, which allowed it to mine 106 out of 470 blocks. The rest were found by 12 other major miners.

Earlier we wrote that an increase in the hashrate can adversely affect the profitability of mining. Currently, with Bitcoin at $39.1k, mining is profitable on ASIC devices with a capacity of 25 TH/s or higher.
