Coinbase Added GBP to Its List of Accepted Currencies
The citizens of the UK can now buy or sell digital coins using their native currency. The innovation came into force yesterday, on Wednesday, the 1st of August. A few users have already opened their pound-wallets on Coinbase, the rest will start using this feature in a couple of weeks. Being the largest US cryptocurrency exchange platform, Coinbase is quickly expanding and adjusting to the needs of their customers. Adding more fiat currencies will simplify trading for lots of people. Coinbases’s CEO commented on accepting the GDP to the list by saying:
Customers will not only benefit from increased speed, but reduced cost as well. By no longer having to convert funds from GBP to euros and vice versa.
