There are people who do not trust social media, better to say, they do not trust in words of influential people there. Such an attitude cannot be considered as groundless as people may trust too much as this brings to certain consequences as it happened with the tweet written by Elon Musk.
In the world of crypto, the situation is pretty much the same. Thus, one software developer, Luke Childs, created an extension to the browser which shows the author’s bias towards four main cryptocurrencies on Twitter. These cryptos include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Bitcoin Cash.
The creator aimed to prevent all kinds of misunderstandings and conflicts of interest in the crypto community. The extension will indicate the digital currency preference of the people you chose. The picture above shows a great example, Chanpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, prefers posting about Ripple, while crypto enthusiast John McAfee mostly talks about Bitcoin Cash.
Luke Childs commented on extension:
“It’s just a proof-of-concept at this point, really. The results shouldn’t be taken too seriously. I think, in general, the results are accurate enough to be helpful. But there are quite a few anomalies and there’s plenty of room for improvement.”
