SEC to Hold Fintech Forum, Where They Will Discuss The Regulation of Cryptocurrency
On May 31, the The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will hold public forum focusing on distributed ledger technology (DLT) and digital assets. They will discuss issues related to the blockchain technology and cryptocurrency on the event. The forum will be organized by the Strategic Hub for Innovation and Financial Technology (FinHub), which was established in 2018. The meeting will be attended by scientists and representatives of the crypto industry. There are three main topics on the agenda:
- Initial Coin Offer (ICO);
- cryptocurrency platforms;
- innovation in distributed database technology.
