Dogecoin clones began to rise in value
The excitement around Dogecoin caused not only a sharp interest in the coin even among those who recently learned about the existence of cryptocurrencies, but also among enterprising crypto enthusiasts who began to create clones of the DOGE token!
Whether it happened in honor of DogeDay or not, it doesn't matter, the main thing is that today four parody projects have significantly increased in price: Akita Inu (AKITA), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogeswap (DOGES) and DogeFi (DOGEFI).
AKITA has risen in price 2.5 times over the past day, but over the past two weeks the coin has multiplied its value more than 300 times! However, the coin has now lost over 52% of its morning price, but still hangs at the top of the Uniswap charts. SHIB gained 4138% growth over the last month, and managed to lose over 50% of its value over the course of a day. DOGES “scored” more than 800% in 24 hours, and in the last two weeks as much as 1918%, while DOGEFI was even more successful, adding 128% in the price per day and an unimaginable 5675% over the last 14 days.
In addition to them, in the crypto space, you can find projects such as Kishu Inu (KISHU), an allusion to “you know who” called Wooftalik Dogering (WOOFT), as well as the self-proclaimed “younger brother of DOGE” HuskyToken (HUSKY). All of them have already attracted a lot of attention, and some, even after the already past Dogecoin DogeDay holiday, still continue to add in price!
Many members of the crypto community disapproved of the DOGE “parodist” team. They argued that due to such "jokes" the reputation of cryptocurrencies in the eyes of regulators suffers. According to some people, the fact that anyone can make a joke out of an innovative technology will not benefit it, but will only continue to discredit digital currencies in the eyes of the authorities, motivating them to generate more and more restrictions.
