A New Tesla Model S will be Able to Drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco on a Single Charge

According to the information published on the company’s website, Tesla extended the range of the Model S electric cars to 370 miles, and the Model X to 325 miles on a single battery charge. For example, now the flagship car will be able to make a trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco without stopping to charge.

The company also announced a new adaptive suspension system and upgrades to its Ludicrous Mode. As a thank you to early buyers who want to buy a car, the company will add a Ludicrous Mode update without an additional fee.

According to representatives of Tesla, both models are now equipped with improved lubrication, new bearings and gear designs, an improved cooling system.

The company also announced a faster charge on the V3 and V2 Superchargers of 200 kW and 145 kW, respectively, reducing the time required to charge cars twice.

The new Tesla software contains algorithms that predict how damping would need to be adjusted based on road conditions, speed and “vehicle and driver inputs”.

Recall that the first Tesla electric car was released in 2012. During this time, the company has really managed to achieve significant results and the latest upgrade of the S model is a direct confirmation of this.
