NFT sales were $2.7 billion In December 2021

In December 2021, NFT item sales set an all-time high of $2.73 billion. Product prices and sales have increased across all blockchains, including Ethereum, Ronin, Solana, and others.

 

 

The most popular NFTs were on the Ronin blockchain. It's about the in-game goods of the #1 blockchain game Axie Infinity. Merchandise sales for this game were $219.5 million in December.

In second place is the Clonex project with sales of $212 million. The TOP also includes Mutant Ape ($209 million), Bored Ape ($196 million) and Cryptopunks ($144 million). Moreover, the most expensive sale in December was the purchase of NFT 4156 in Cryptopunks for a record $10.2 million.

TOP income generated by different blockchains looks like this:

  1. Ethereum ($2.3 billion)
  2. Ronin ($219 million)
  3. Solana ($109 million).

Also in December, the number of NFT sales on Polygon increased significantly. The increase was 98.93%. According to experts, this is not the limit, and in 2022 this area will have a great future!
