BAYC The Otherside Metaverse Coming This Week

The launch is scheduled for April 30 at 12:00 pm ET. According to the creators of the Yuga Labs project, the authors of the famous BAYC NFT collection, Otherside will be an open role-playing metaverse compatible with all types of NFTs. 



On the official Discord channel, there is not much information about the Other Side drop yet. There is no official site yet. The team will reveal more details this week.

According to a presentation leaked last month, the creators of BAYC will put up 200,000 virtual lands for sale. Each lot will have its own unique attributes such as natural resources, artifacts and rare characters. The cost is 1 ETH per plot. If the sale goes through, Yuga Labs will generate $455 million in revenue, triple their 2021 net income.

According to OpenSea , Moonbirds #9619 was bought for 64.9 ETH ($192,600), Moonbirds #2642 for 350 ETH ($1,038,500).



A collection of 10,000 PFPs (profile photos) generated 69K ETH (approximately $207M) in total sales, with a minimum price of 21.3 ETH (approximately $64K) at the time of writing. The debut propelled Moonbirds to the top of the OpenSea leaderboard not only for the week, but for the last 30 days, ahead of Azuki (50K ETH) and Bored Ape Yacht Club (35K ETH).

Maccabi World will turn museum exhibits into NFTs

A collaboration agreement between Maccabi World Union , which operates the Maccabi Museum, and tech startup Sighteer, will turn historical exhibits at the museum into NFT digital souvenirs. The project will operate under the official and exclusive license of Project Max, named after Max Nordau, the father of Maccabi sport. 



The project will run on an artificial intelligence platform and aim to raise awareness online and in the metaverse about the history of Jewish sports in the world, while promoting the values ​​of equality and the fight against anti-Semitism. Sighteer will be releasing digital art collectibles in a limited edition of eleven pieces per item - one in gold, three in silver and one in bronze.
