Adidas' NFT collection ranked #2 in popularity at OpenSea

The joint project of several companies, including Adidas, Bored Ape and PUNKS Comic, brought the creators of the NFT collection 11,391 ETH (equivalent to $43 million) in sales in less than 72 hours.

The debut NFT collection was named "Into the Metaverse" by Adidas. It includes 30 thousand copies of the same item. By the time of this writing, nearly 20,000 copies have been sold.

According to experts, $15.5 million was received at the stage of presale for early investors. However, the sale had to be suspended due to technical problems.

The sales of tokens were so successful that in terms of sales, this collection took the second place on OpeanSea. Only RTFKT Clone X and Takashi Murakami are ahead.

Perhaps the high popularity of NFT lies in the fact that the token is not a physical item, but opens up virtual access to wearable devices in the Sandbox Metaverse and allows them to be redeemed in 2022.

Also, token buyers are entitled to a version of the comic PUNKS Comic Issue 2: X Marks the Drop. Part of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the treasury of the PUNKS community.
